Supported models

A programmer is the board that physically holds a transceiver and gives the app access to its memory. CodingBox works with a range of programmer models through one universal driver.

One driver, many boards

You do not install a separate tool per device. The driver detects supported boards over USB and offers them in the app's connection selector, alongside the built-in simulator.

Choosing a board

Boards differ in the form factors they accept and the throughput they offer. The app lists the models it currently supports; pick the one that matches the modules you work with (for example SFP-class versus QSFP-class housings).

The simulator

Even with no board attached, the simulator is always available so the interface stays fully usable for learning and evaluation.

Working with real modules needs a physical board plus the driver. Reading and decoding always happen in the application itself.
